aux plug. Waiting on an amp i got off ebay. Should be really loud. right now you cant here them over 4k rpm. It took a lot for me to decide to do this because it is a sport bike. not a Goldwing or an ultra classic. so glad i did it though. now i can rock out while cruising through the country side.

Sweet man!
Now what music to you cruise to.....considering everyone else gets to hear it to. I once saw an HD guy deliberately restart "Beautiful People" just before pulling into a parking lot so we could all see what a badass he is. |

haha! im an alice in chains, faith no more kinda guy. 90's rock. I'm not really a big show off, because like that guy your talking about i would make an ass out of myself. its more for me on the back roads. head phones bother me because i feel desensitized to everything going on, the bike traffic ect... I might not like it. havent done much riding with it yet. Im sure i will turn it down a bit sitting in traffic. nobody likes that guy! |

They're 3 and a half inch bose speakers out of my old home theater system. I tried some hi end car audio speakers but they were to hi pitch and no low tone. Theyre probably not waterproof but i dont ride in the rain and when i wash the bike i put a piece of masking tape over the screens. They sound really good. |

I really dig this, as I feel the same about headphones. Not too mention I am pretty sure it's illegal to wear headphones when driving for that reason. Depending on location.
I'm curious how you mounted them under the fairings? Just use a strong all weather adhesive? I would like to use some sort of all weather speaker as well, even though I try not to ride in the rain, sometimes it does happen. Having the USB port on the amp is a bonus as well as that is another mod I wanted to do to be able to charge my devices. |
