The horn mounts to the brake line distribution block via long bolts that go through. We couldn't simply remove the lines and leave the block there, that would be silly. So it was all removed as one piece, and some shorter bolts located in my stash of 'extra' 6e parts aka my old 94 chassis that has now become a parts bike :(  So there we have the horn mounted back in it's stock location, minus the brake block, nice clean look and all old parts removed. Just the way I like it.

Another shot of the horn mounting from up top. Not like you really see this stuff on the bike, but it makes me feel better having it mounted this way, and not leaving the block in there just so it can be mounted like stock. Hopefully this gives you an idea if you end up doing this same work down the road.

Classic example of the now cliche phrase: "Old and busted - New hotness". A top view of how she looks. Old rotten rubber transforms into beautiful stainless steel. There no instructions with the lines, and according to the package they fit '98-0something' zx6. Maybe they mean R? Who knows, I got them new/used in the package, from an ex E owner. Anyways the point is, there are several different offsets of the fittings, so while the result may look strange, it's the way they all seemed to fit best. So if it's 'wrong', oh well. It has pressure and the bikes stops, well. So that's good enough for me.

What they look like at the wheel of course.

Yes my bike is dirty, and no I don't care. That happens when you like riding in the rain, through construction, offroad ;) and rarely wash it. Oh that and just gettting around Chicagoland!

Now to install the rear line. Happy braking!
